Methods of legalization in Poland in 2024

You can legalize your stay in Poland on various grounds, depending on your personal circumstances.

A student (of a school, including a Szkoła Policealna, a lyceum) and a student of a higher educational institution can apply for a residence card for studies.

A residence card for a Szkoła Policealna student is issued for the duration of their studies. After completing your studies, you no longer need to obtain a work permit.

To do this, you need to write a sound business plan (if you are just starting out), or employ two Poles (holders of Pole cards), or provide yourself with an income of at least 12 times the average monthly salary in the voivodeship.
